Soft Tissue Sarcoma is a very rare form of cancer. It comprises approximately one half of one percent of all cancers diagnosed.

The general rarity of it all:
About 40 percent occur in the legs usually at or above the knee. Fifteen percent develop in the hands and arms, another 15 percent in the head and neck and 30 percent in the shoulders, chest, abdomen, or hips.

If I got the math correct, soft-tissue sarcomas are 0.5% of all sarcomas so the chances of me catching out of the blue is 0.005 x 0.03 = 0.00015 x 100 = 0.015% chance.

That's why I'm special!
