Ah, chemo. my mind is trying to control my body at this point. My body doesn't understand that this is actually good for me. It just wants the poison out of the body. it wants me to throw it up, diarrhea it out, sleep it off.... meanwhile, my mind envisions the cancer area shrinking and amazing things happening over there, so my body will eventually understand that this is good for it. It has to trust me. And, chemo was their sole treatment method. I remember that and think about that all the time. "come on, body, It's not really poison, my body just thinks it is, and we're getting better."
