The prognosis I have now is gathered from the docs on MedLine (links are above in the surgery section). Generally, the average time to demise following diagnosis is 10.2 months regardless of the patient's age. With the EPP surgery that time is extended to 19 months as a probabilistic average. The survival rates for pleural sarcoma similar to mine are like 75% 1-year survival rate, 40% 2-year survival rate and 14% 3-year survival rate.

I believe my sarcoma is confined to my chest and has not spread to other vital organs yet, visibly. Following surgery, we will need to take a CT scan. I refuse making a prognosis until the doctor's have done their surgical best. The surgery now is pivotal in developing a prognosis, and until it's over i can't see any way to factor that in.

Also, the chemo was considered a mild success to it's pushed my life span up a couple of months, which is awesome.

Things people always need more of: time, lifespan, money.
