I don't think they do it often.

Obviously, you want me to meet again with him and ask him how many he's done and for his recommendations on increasing the chances of a successful outcome.
I don't know who is in a better situation to help me besides yourself, though.
I'm sure this small country doesn't do EPP very often ... besides a population of roughly only 50 million, that figure doesn't have the additional boost from foreigners coming into the country to receive world-class medical care, as does the US so I'm sure Korea doesn't do many EPP surgeries based on population-size. And, perhaps, the Koreans who do need the surgery go abroad, as foreign medical is considered better ( Korea is considered up-to-par in some other areas (like, stomach cancer)).I am still opting for here, at present. First, they offered to do the surgery here -- so I assume they are confident they can carry it out. Second, cost. Thirdly, I would lose my job and along with it my life here in Korea. (I assume I can't fly after this surgery for a very long time, and travelling might be too much for me). Is there any possibility the surgery will cause me lifelong pain? Up till now, I've been pain-free. I'm worried about that.
