Hey Susan,
Just wanted to say some things I didn't say in that phone conversation.
I've done that for years. I've been here in Seoul doing the make-money-per-year. I ended up 38 years old, because I came here when I was 34, and before that I had no big-company job so no promotions or stuff. Anyways, you can live alright like this. my job pays 30 per hour, I work just a few hours a day (one straight stretch up to 6 hours) so I have lots of free time to do part-time work elsewhere.
But, you already know that. You said you were younger, wanted a job where you use your head. I understand that, because we are capable of more than teaching English or working jobs which don't use our knowledge and passion.
So, in the end, I really hope your C++ and engineering works out for you. It should. Sorry to hear Sanjay's having a hard time with immigration and his job is not so good. Just keep supporting each other and you'll get through this together. Remember, two is better than one.
Best of luck with the time remaining in Delaware, Susan.sometimes I wonder if there's something I need to to before I die, but school doesn't ever come up as something strongly lying in that category.
