</div><p></div><p>Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans is a rare type of malignant tumor that occurs in the dermis, the second layer of the skin.<p>Hoffman officially coined the term dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans in 1925.<p>DFSP accounts for less than 0.1% of all malignant neoplasms and approximately 1% of all soft tissue sarcomas.
